Export PST file in Exchange Server 2016

1. Prepare

- DC1 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn) | DC2 : Exchange Server | WIN71,WIN101,WIN102 : Clients

2. Step by step : Export VietIT's mailbox to PST file

- WIN71 : Logon use HiepIT account and send emails to VietIT

- WIN101 : Logon use VietIT account and check emails

- WIN102 : Logon use NamIT and create and share a folder named PST

- DC2 : Export VietIT's mailbox to PST file

+ Start - Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 - Exchange Administrative Center - permissions tab - Double-Click 'Recipient Management' - Role : Click '+'

- Mailbox Import Export - Add - Save - Close Browser

+ Start - Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 - Exchange Management Shell, type :

+ New-ManagementRoleAssignment -Role “Mailbox Import Export” -User Administrator # Assign for Administrator

+ Start - Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 - Exchange Administrative Center -recipient tab - Click VietIT - Click '...' - Export to a PST file

- Select a mailbox ... : Choose 'Export only the contents of this mailbox' - Specify the path : \\WIN102.Yi.vn\PST\VietIT.pst

- Send email to the mailbox below when the .pst has been exported - Browse... : NamIT - Finish

- WIN102 : Add VietIT.pst to Outlook

+ Outlook client - File - Account Settings - Accoutn Settings... - Data Files tab - Add... - Browse to located VietIT.pst === Check again
