Configure http to https redirection for Outlook on the web in Exchange Server 2016

1. Prepare

- DC1 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn) | DC2 : Exchange Server | WIN101 : Client

2. Step by step : Configure http to https redirection for Outlook on the web on DC2

- WIN101 : Using HiepIT access Outlook on the web

+ Start - Internet Explorer, type :

+ http://DC2, http://DC2/owa --- Fail "The website declined to show this webpage"

+ https://DC2/owa --- It work

- DC2 : Configure http to https redirection for Outlook on the web

+ Server Manager - Tools - Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager - Sites - Default Web Site - SSL Settings - Untick 'Require SSL' - Apply

+ Click Autodiscover - - SSL Settings - Tick 'Require SSL' - Apply (Do the same for ecp,EWS,Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync)

+ Click 'Default Web Site' - HTTP Redirect :

+ Tick 'Redirect requests to this destination' : /owa

+ Redirect Behavior : Select 'Only redirect requests to content in this directory (not subdirectories)'

+ Status code : Found (302) - Apply

+ Click API - HTTP Redirect - Untick 'Redirect requests to this destination'+'Only redirect requests to content in this directory (not subdirectories)'

- Apply (Do the same for Autodiscover,ecp,EWS,mapi,Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync,owa,Powershell,RPC)

+ Click DC2 - Restart

- WIN101 : Using HiepIT access Outlook on the web after redirected. Internet Explorer, type - http://dc2 or http://dc2/owa === Ok
