In this video, I explain the switching characteristic of a Power MOSFET and explain what is cross conduction (shoot thru), and how to eliminate it. I also show how to damp the gate signal and how damping affects the switching characteristic of a MOSFET. I then run a SPICE simulation to verify my results.
