Micro-Cap Circuit Simulator, How to model an Inductor using core models
In this video, I use Micro-Cap to model an inductor using a core model that accepts physical parameters such as Ae (Effective Area), Le (Effective Length) and Gap Length. The model shows that when the Flux exceeds 0.3T (Tesla), the core saturates and you have a sharp increase in current. Questions or comments can be sent to [email protected].
