Maybe the content on Netflix just isn't hitting the mark with you. Or, maybe Netflix no longer fits into your budget. No matter the reason, cancelling your Netflix account is easy and can be done in a few quick clicks. For most subscribers, you can cancel your Netflix subscription through the Netflix website. Alternatively, if you subscribed to Netflix through the Netflix app on an iPhone, iPad or Android device, you can't use the method I'm going to walk through in this video, but I'll link to my videos in the description and pinned comment that will show you how to cancel a Netflix subscription on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
Now let's walk through the steps to cancel your Netflix subscription.
Step 1. Open a web browser, navigate to www.Netflix.com, and then log in to your Netflix account if you're not logged in by default.
Step 2. Click the drop-down arrow next to your profile icon at the top of the screen to open a drop-down menu, and then click "Account" in that menu. Your Netflix account screen is displayed.
Step 3. Scroll down to the Membership and Billing section, and then click "Cancel Membership" in that section. The Cancel Your Membership screen is shown, letting you know that if you decide to reactivate your Netflix subscription, your viewing preferences and account details will be saved for 10 months.
Step 4. Click "Finish Cancellation." The next screen lets you know that your Netflix subscription has been cancelled, but you'll still have access to the service through your next billing date.
Step 5. Choose the reasons your cancelling your Netflix subscription, and then click "Done" at the bottom of this screen. You'll be routed back to your Netflix account home screen, where you'll see a banner across the top letting you know that your membership will be cancelled at the end of your current billing period. You can see what your next billing date is when you'll lose access to the Netflix service in the Membership and Billing section.
