Have you ever noticed your iPhone or Android phone's photo gallery filling up with images sent through Telegram chats? While it's great to have easy access to photos shared by friends and family, sometimes you might want to keep your gallery organized and free of automatically saved images.
In this video I'll show you how to stop Telegram from automatically saving images to your phone's photo gallery. This simple tweak can help you manage your device's storage better and keep your gallery clutter-free.
Step 1. Open the Telegram app, and then tap "Settings" in the row of options along the bottom of the screen. Your Telegram settings menu is displayed.
Step 2. Scroll down this menu, and then tap "Data and Storage." Data and Storage options are shown.
Step 3. Navigate to the Save to Photos section, and then tap "Private Chats." The Private Chats screen opens.
Step 4. Find the Save to Photos section, and then tap to toggle off the Photos and Videos options. Telegram will no longer save images to your device's photo gallery going forward.
