How to Zoom In and Zoom Out in Capcut For PC/Laptop

In this video, I will show you how to zoom in and zoom out in capcut on your computer. First, you want to add the video onto the capcut timeline.

Now click on the video itself to make the capcut menu show the keyframe options. To Zoom In, move your cursor to the timeline you want to start the zoom in process. Now make sure to select the keyframes for “scale” and “position” to lock it.

Then, move to the timeline where you want the zoom in effect to end. Now select “add keyframe” under “Position and Size”. Now go to the video and start enlarging it. You can click on the magnifying glass to shrink the video so it is easier to enlarge.

Once you are done with the enlarging, go back to the start of the keyframe and see it in effect.

To zoom out, you want to select on the timeline where you want the zoom out process to start. Select “add keyframe” under Position and Size. Now go to the timeline where you want the zoom out process to end. Again, select add keyframe under Position and Size.

Now start to reduce the size of the video. Once you are happy, you can go to the video timeline and see the zoom out effect.

To delete the zoom in or out effect, go to the video timeline and right click on the keyframe. You will have the option to copy or delete it. Select delete and it will be gone.
