How to Create Bookmark Folders in Google Chrome | Show Bookmarks Folder under Bookmarks Tab

In this video, I will show you how to create bookmark folders in Google Chrome. First, you need to sign in to your google account.

When you create a bookmark, it is automatically saved into your main bookmark section. You will not see it unless you access your bookmark tab under the 3 dot icon on the top right corner.

For this example, I will create a bookmark folder related to the stock market. The first website I want to bookmark is Finviz dot com.

When I bookmark this via the star icon, I am going to put it in a new folder by creating one under “other bookmarks”. I will name the folder “stock market”.

Click on the save button.

To make your bookmark folder show up on the bookmark tab, click on the all bookmarks tab. Select the folder you want. Now press left click on your mouse, hold it and drag the folder to the bookmarks tab.

Voila! The folder is on the bookmarks tab.

Now I will proceed to add 2 more new sites into the folder. The next site is trading view dot com. Keep in mind that when saving this bookmark, be sure to switch to the folder you want it in.

In this case, I save it to the stock market folder. The third site I will be adding is market watch dot com.

When you select the stock market folder, you will see all your saved websites there.

To remove the folder from your bookmarks tab, press left click on your mouse, hold it and drag the folder into the “all bookmarks” area.

Now it is back to where it originally belongs.

If your bookmark tab is not showing, press “control, alternate and B” together. Alternatively, you can go to the 3 dot icon on the top right side, select “bookmarks and list” and choose “show bookmarks bar” and it will appear.
