How To Make Macadamia Orgeat | Sunken Booty!
Today I got a delicious Macadamia Orgeat to show you. You can make orgeat from any nut milk really, it doesn't have to almond! Macadamias are rich and have a vanilla flavor, which works great in cocktails!
Basically its Macadamia Milk and sugar but I toasted some macadamias and let those steep to add a little extra flavor.
Two Drinks:
Chokoreto:
2 oz Cognac
.
5 oz Plantation OFTD
.5 oz Macadamia Orgeat
.25 oz Creme de Cocoa
2 Dashes Angostura
Sunken Booty:
1.5 oz Appleton Estate
.75 oz Lime Juice
.75 oz Macadamia Orgeat
.5 oz Hibiscus Liqueur
1 Dashes Tiki Bitters
6 Drops of Absinthe
