Banana Syrup! | Irish Banana Old Fashioned!
Banana Syrup is so easy, and a great use for banana peels you were going to throw away anyhow. Just cover some banana peels with sugar and wait.
I waited 2 days, with 2 banana peels.
I made an Irish whiskey old fashioned with it:
2 oz Irish Whiskey (Writers Tears)
.25-.5 oz Banana Syrup (To taste)
Dash of Angostura bitters
Dash of Scrappy's Chocolate Bitters
Rim the glass with walnut dust and a lime wedge if you want.
