WRITING AND DRAWING OVER THE IMAGES IN GOOGLE DOCS
Drawing in Google Docs lets you create inside-document images with text boxes, shapes, lines, word art, scribble by hand and etc. But what if you need to put all that over an image inside a document? In this vide we find this out.

If you edit images in Google Docs, you do it from a drawing workspace, so we enter it by going to the “Insert” item on the toolbar on top and pressing it. Then drag the mouse pointer to the 3rd line “Drawing” and select “New” on the right. That will open a drawing canvas over a document, where we do all the stuff. First I insert the image by clicking the rightmost icon on the toolbar - you will be offered to get it a few sources, and I’ll do it the fastest way by dropping it in there from my computer. Once it's here you can write and draw over the image using a toolbar on top. You can draw a line or an arrow, then you can scribble over the image, then put any shape over it, and finally write something on it. For that we create a text box by clicking on the last but one icon on the toolbar and drawing a figure over an image. And then type anything you want in there. Then format the text just like you normally do in the document, move the text box and so on. Once completed, hit “Save and close” at the top right corner, and you image will appear in the document. And this is how you write and draw on an image in google docs.
