In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how to find your computer’s time zone in Windows.
Knowing your computer’s time zone ensures that the time displayed on your computer is accurate, which is crucial for scheduling and time management. It also guarantees that files, emails, and other documents have the correct timestamps, which is important for record-keeping and tracking changes.
To get started:
1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Command Prompt”.
2. Click on the command prompt application to open it up.
3. Now that Command Prompt is open, type in the following command “WMIC timezone get caption, daylightName, standardName”.
4. Now hit enter on your keyboard.
5. Your computer’s time zone will now be displayed.
And it’s as easy as that, finding out your computer’s time zone is a simple task to perform.
