Ingredients for making pumpkin jam:
1. Pumpkin - 1 kg
2. Sugar sand 1 kg
3. Quince - 1 piece
4. Lemon - 1 piece (optional)
How to cook homemade pumpkin jam with quince:
1. Wash the pumpkin and peel and remove the seeds. Wash the quince, remove the seed box. Cut pumpkin and quince into small pieces.
2. Pour the pieces with sugar and mix. Add juice of 1 lemon. Leave for 3 hours for pumpkin and quince to release juice.
3. Transfer everything to a thick-walled pan. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat until the pieces are soft and translucent. This takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
Cool the finished pumpkin jam with quince without pouring it into another bowl, then place it in jars and close with plastic lids.
If pumpkin jam with quince is being prepared for the winter, pour it boiling into sterilized jars and cork.
