In order to make homemade cheese, we need the following ingredients:
1. Milk - 1 liter
2. Kefir - 1 liter
3. Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
4. Salt - 1 teaspoon
How to make homemade cheese from milk:
1. Pour milk into a saucepan and place on the stove. Heat milk to a boil.
2. Mix the eggs with kefir, salt and pour in a stream into the milk, stirring. (Salinity can be adjusted to your liking.) Bring the mixture to a boil, but do not boil.
3. Line a colander with two layers of gauze, strain the mass. Whey that drains into the pan can be used for baking, for example.
4. Wrap the cheese mass in gauze, put a saucer and a weight of 1-2 kg on top. Leave in this position until completely cooled. Then place in the refrigerator overnight.
Delicious, dense, but tender homemade cheese made from milk and kefir, cut into slices with a sharp knife and serve. This cheese is perfect for breakfast with tea or coffee.
