Adding Languages to Linux, and setting shortcut keys
How to add a new Language to Linux Mint, and add a shortcut key combination to switch between added languages?
Depends on which Version of Linux Mint you are using:
For Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon:
Menu / Keyboard / Layout / + / select the language you want
Menu / Keyboard / Layouts / Options / Switching to another layout.
Or Older versions of Mint:
Menu / Keyboard Preferences / Layouts / Add / select the language you want
and to change the layout (for shortcut key to change the language):
Menu / Keyboard Preferences / Layouts / Options / Key(s)
