Summer is definitely over and autumn is here with all it's beauty. We keep busy as we do all the necessary chores that we need to complete before the snow.

Fall season for us is the time to go berry picking in the wild woods and collect cranberries that we cook into jams for the winter. Once more Kato finds a way to steal our harvest.

We also have to seek every opportunity to get more fuel for our always hungry woodshed. It will be so much harder to find good firewood under the snow!

And it is time to prepare our greenhouse. Well we actually have some hope left to be able to harvest ripe vegetables this year...

It is also a family summer because both our parents are visiting from Germany to meet their grandson and to get closer to our way of cabin life. And our Baby boy has another big surprise for all of us.
