Sleeping in our tent in a stunning landscape surrounded by towering mountains and wild bears. But there is also sadness in our lives right now...

The road is blocked by fallen trees and we are ill prepared again. Without a chainsaw it is a very sweaty exercise to get over this first obstacle. But finally we are rewarded with the most beautiful spot in the Yukon. Long into the night we sit around the fire and let our thoughts wander.
The next morning the sun rises beautiful and promises another hot summer day. In the meadow below our tents we can watch many bears grazing peacefully.
We enjoy a day of sunbathing, and bear-spotting before we finally pack our things just to tackle an even bigger tree on our way out. And we share with you our sad news...
Soon after settling down for the night we get a scary visit by a fearless bear in our camp...

We are Peter & Sophie a German couple who found a new home in the Canadian Wilderness.
