It is a beautiful winter wonderland in the forest around our tiny cabin in the woods. Snow covers the trees and crunches under our feet as we step out to choose our Christmas Tree.
We tie candles and fairy lights to the tree, decorate and cook a festive meal to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season on this day.
After a short walk in the dark we bring Kato back inside to let him open his very first Christmas present. And boy is he excited. It is a lot of fun to see the joy he experiences. Kato is allowed to stay up late as we listen to Christmas music and dance around.
