We are in Surat Thani / Thailand which is a gateway town to the islands of Thailand's Gulf Coast. From Surat Thani Ko Samui, Ko Pha Ngan and Ko Tao are reached by ferry.

This small stopover we first walk a few blocks to check the Surat Thani night market with many food stalls. Fewer souvenir stands and more food options make it more a local experience. The city does not have many sights, yet we still find some temples and shrines.

There are evening exercises of the local near the waterfront, where we end this short walk on hot and humid Thailand evening before heading to dinner.
