Defeating Forbidden Black Blade Kindred at level 1 (no weapon upgrades, hitless, solo) - Elden Ring
Continuing the quest to learn the valiant gargoyle / black blade kindred moveset so I can progress past the underground gargoyle duo! This dude has some tricky moves, the hardest one I found was his roar in Axe phase. It comes out so quickly and leaves little room to react, but I figured out how to dodge it reliably. When he roars to change weapons, dodge towards him and try to get directly under him to avoid the axe slam. When he roars as a regular move, either dodge so you end up on his left side to avoid it if you're close, or dodge away and run away if you're medium distance or far.

Stone Club with Cragblade (weapon is dropped by the various battle mages in the game, and the ash of war is dropped by a teardrop scarab in Caelid near Castle Redmane's bridge)
Radagon's Soreseal (found in Fort Faroth in Caelid behind a giant rat)
Green Turtle Talisman (found in a chest under Summonwater Village in Limgrave behind a stonesword key fogwall)
Ritual Sword Talisman (found in Lux Ruins in the Altus Plateau region after defeating the boss)
Claw Talisman (found on top of a watchtower in Stormveil Castle)
Lantern (purchased from a nomadic merchant on the west coast of the Weeping Peninsula by the Isolated Merchant's Shack site of grace)
Strength-knot Crystal Tear for the Flask of Wondrous Physick (boosts strength by 10 for 3 minutes, found in a bowl on the ground on a hill north-west of the Stormhill Shack site of grace)
Spiked Cracked Tear for the Flask of Wondrous Physick (boosts charge attacks by 15% for 3 minutes, found next to the Minor Erdtree in Limgrave's Mistwood in a bowl on the ground)
In the thumbnail, RL1 means "rune level 1", WL0 means "weapon level 0" or no weapon upgrades, and "hitless" means I didn't get hit :)
