Godfrey/Hoarah Loux's first phase is relatively easy to learn, but his second phase was super hard for me. You mostly just have to dodge forward and to the right in his first phase, and then in the second phase you should try to stay right up against him and keep strafing right so you can trigger him to use easily avoidable attacks. When he starts doing the shock waves in his second phase, opportunities to get hits in were hard to find for me so that's where rot/poison come in very handy! The poisonbone darts were just to try to trigger him to use his gap-closing attacks for avoiding downtime, they can be replaced by any throwable consumable.
The loadout I used in this video:
-Antspur Rapier with Poison Mist (weapon is dropped by a hostile NPC west of the Shaded Castle dungeon, ash of war is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab near Castle Morne on the Weeping Peninsula)
-Rapier with Lightning Slash (weapon is purchased from the Twin Maiden Husks in the roundtable hold, ash of war is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab in an enemy encampment outside of Leyndell's outer wall)
Green Turtle Talisman (found in a chest under Summonwater Village in Limgrave behind a stonesword key fogwall)
Radagon's Soreseal (found in Fort Faroth in Caelid behind a giant rat)
Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom (obtained from Millicent's questline in Caelid)
Ritual Sword Talisman (found in Lux Ruins in the Altus Plateau region after defeating the boss)
Poisonbone Darts (purchased from a nomadic merchant in Caelid near the Aeonia Shore Swamp site of grace)
Lantern (purchased from a nomadic merchant on the west coast of the Weeping Peninsula by the Isolated Merchant's Shack site of grace)
Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear for the Flask of Wondrous Physick (obtained by defeating an Erdtree Avatar in the Liurnia of the Lakes region)
Greenspill Crystal Tear for the Flask of Wondrous Physick (picked up off the ground next to the Minor Erdtree in Limgrave's Mistwood)
In the thumbnail, RL1 means "rune level 1", WL0 means "weapon level 0" or no weapon upgrades, and "hitless" means I didn't get hit :)
