Heading to Croatia and a HUGE Surprise for the Kids!
Austin used to be in the Navy and he went on a deployment to Croatia once. Ever since then, he has said he wants to go back and take me there. Well, the weather looked great and the COVID restrictions were relaxing there so we decided to make it into a big road trip!
Day one, we hit a bit of a snag where we had to drive an hour and a half out of the way to get to another military post to get a new gas card. After that big detour, we finally made it to our spot for the night. It was right on the edge of the border with Austria and we got all set up and made dinner and then decided to share some HUGE news with the kids that we had been keeping a secret!
