Long Beach Animal Care Services - Roxanne (#A702202) is an active 2 year old gal whose name means Bright Star & she sure shines brightly in our eyes! This sweet, young, 60 pound girl is one of our longest stay dogs arriving as a stray last summer. When Roxanne closes her eyes tightly like in the pic below, we're sure she's dreaming of her forever home. She's always up for an adventure, loves to go on long walks & loves to play with stuffies, yet she's not hyperactive just a good mid-energy. She's eager to please, loyal, affectionate & is very treat motivated. The name Roxanne also means Dawn & we can't think of a better way to wake up each morning than being greeted by her giant smile.
Our shelter remains over-capacity & our staff & volunteers are truly working tirelessly to avoid euthanasia whenever possible, but WE NEED YOUR HELP.
