Long Beach Animal Care Services - Sterling (#A704771) is an 'ear-resistible' charmer! His ears aren't simply part of his rugged good looks, they're also the key to his soul. When he tilts his head just right, it's not just curiosity, it's Sterling looking into your eyes & saying he's ready to listen to whatever you have to say. At approximately 2 years old, this intelligent & playful dog is struggling with the confinement & stress of living in a shelter. He came to us as a stray this past August & IS CURRENTLY AT RISK due to declining quality of life. He's also struggling to gain weight at a much too thin 60 pounds. Sterling dreams of a time when he can bask in the sounds of a happy home - peaceful chatter around the dinner table, squeaky toys for him to romp with and lots of laughter & love.
Our shelter remains over-capacity & our staff & volunteers are truly working tirelessly to avoid euthanasia whenever possible, but WE NEED YOUR HELP.
