We take a few days to explore Anchorage. For our standards it is a huge city. But it is easy to travel the roads with our motorhome. Soon we get bored of city life and head into the mountains to look for moose and other wildlife. And finally we continue to the beautiful town of Talkeetna. A climbers village and entry point for the Denali Mountain Range.

In Anchorage we find a few cool places that we would definitely recommend. A cool thrift-store, a nice coffee place and a super cool little market. And the coolest restaurant in the north!! Or at least one of the few...

But after city life we need to calm ourselves down again and head into the wild mountains surrounding the city. We climb up into the clouds and Peter looks for wildlife with his big camera in hand.

And last but not least we make it to Talkeetna. A wonderful and peaceful town in the foothills of the Denali Range. We admire the village and Sophie plays dress up in the local thrift store...
