In this tutorial you’ll learn how to change the thumbnail of a clip in a bin in Premiere Pro using Set Poster Frame. You’ll also learn how to clear the thumbnail.
Here’s a quick recap:
Put the bin in frame view, rather than list view. Scrub the clip until you find the frame that you want to set the thumbnail of it to. Right-click on the clip and then choose Set Poster Frame. To clear the thumbnail, select Clear Poster Frame from the same menu.
