Screenflow 10: How To Scale To Fit to Canvas Size
Screenflow 10: Scale To Fit Clips to Resize to Canvas Dimension
This tutorial will show you haw to ’Scale To Fit’ clips on the timeline so they fit proportionately to fill up the Canvas dimensions. If the clip is the same aspect ratio as the canvas dimensions then Scale to Fit will fill the entire Canvas. If the aspect ratio is different, expect to see black bars on the sides.
Scale To Fit: Scale a clip/object proportionately to fit the Canvas
Stretch To Fit: Fill the Canvas regardless of aspect ratio (this may distort clips if different aspect ratios)
Reset: revert to original
Note: In Screenflow 9 there were 3 buttons under the Scale Slider in the Video Property that are no longer in Screenflow 10. In Screenflow 10, you must Ctrl + Click on a clip to Scale To Fit where this was not an option in Screenflow 9.
How To Scale To Fit in Screenflow 10 (Option #1):
1. Select Clip on the timeline
2. Right-click or Ctrl + Click on the selected Clip
3. Select ’Scale to Fit’ and clip will fill Canvas in proportion to aspect ratio
How To Scale To Fit in Screenflow 10 (Option #2):
1. Select Clip on the timeline
2. Go to Arrange Menu at the top
3. Select ’Scale’
4. Scale to Fit
