The "Slot" command in SOLIDWORKS isn't a single command, but rather refers to a group of tools used for creating elongated cutouts within a sketch. These slots can be either straight or curved.
Here's how to access the Slot tools:
Sketch Toolbar: Locate the "Slot" button on the Sketch toolbar.
Menu: Go to Tools - Sketch Entities - Straight Slot (or Arc Slot for curved cutouts).
CommandManager: Click on the "Sketch" tab in the CommandManager and then select the desired slot type from the "Slot" flyout menu.

Once you've chosen the tool, you'll define the slot's geometry by clicking points for:
Starting Point: This sets the location of one end of the slot.
Length: Click and drag to define the overall length of the slot.
Width: Click in a perpendicular direction to specify the width of the slot.
