AllInTitle test: this test is going to reveal the number of webpages, on the Internet, that have all the words that make up your longtail keyword phrase in their title. An essential part of search engine optimization is having your longtail keyword phrase in the title of your blog post or webpage. The AllInTitle test is performed by putting in the Google search allintitle:your longtail keyword without quotes.

AllInUrl test: in Google enter allinurl:your longtail keyword Take note of the number results.

AllInText test: this test reveals the number of webpages, online, with your exact longtail keyword in the text of their webpage or blog. To perform this test type into Google allintext:"your longtail keyword" Notice that in this test your keyword phrase is surrounded in quotes " . Again, take note of the number of results.

SEOQuakeTest: the fourth test involves performing your longtail keyword phrase search on Google but this time using a web browser that has the SEO quake extension installed. The SEO quake extension is now available for Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari. SEO quake provides many different parameters in SEO information about different websites but for our purposes we are mainly interested in the page rank of results for your keyword phrase search in Google. We want to examine the first 10 results and the page rank. The page rank is shown with SEO quake installed as one of the first parameters for each of the results.

Ideally you want to target longtail keywords that show no more than 200 results for the first three test and the fourth test, with SEO quake installed, the first 10 search results should have no more than a few pages with a page rank of one or two and the rest of the pages with the page rank of zero.
