Swimming in the Most Beautiful Lake in Slovenia | Lake Bled
When Austin suggested that we make one of our stops at a Lake in Slovenia called Lake Bled, I was reasonably skeptical. It didn't sound like it was any place that I wanted to go or take my kids. But man was I wrong! This is the most beautiful lake. Not only is the water perfectly crystal clear, but the lake also has an incredible church nestled right in the center!

So we started our journey by leaving Germany and driving through Austria. Luckily there was a pick your own strawberry field on the way which was just exactly what we needed! One of our other favorite stops in Austria is a city called Werfen where the Sound of music was filmed but also where the castle Hohenwerfen is. It is an absolutely picturesque castle up on a hilltop.
Finally, we continued on to the most beautiful lake in Slovenia. I would recommend a visit to that lake even if it was hours out of your way.
