We're on the verge of wrapping up the Fontaine patches with just one more update to go before we see the arrival of Natlan region. so far, According to the latest leaks, Version 4.8's character banners remain unchanged. the character banners are still the same. Nilou and Navia in the first phase, followed by Emilie and Yelan in the second phase. With no further changes expected, this should be the final word on Version 4.8's character banners. Anyway, now that we've covered the banners for Version 4.8, let's shift our focus to Version 5.0, marking the debut of the Natlan region expected to arrive on August 28, 2024.
Genshin Impact leaker Foul has shared new insights about the new characters who will receive banners in version 5.0. Version 5.0 will introduce three new characters from Natlan According to the latest leaks, two new 5 star characters and a 4 star character will be added in version 5.0. with two of these characters being female characters.
according to the latest leaks from Foul, a male 5 Star Dendro Claymore, a female 5 Star Hydro Catalyst, and a female 4 Star Geo Polearm will be introduced. We also have some information about their design and a bit of their kits. The 5 star dendro claymore character will have a boy model, basically something similar to lyney and bennett. The 5 star hydro catalyst character will have a girl model, identical to ayaka. these 5 star female hydro character has a fast movement on the water. They specifically say "on" water, meaning this female character can walk on water. Perhaps it was a writing mistake. Only time will tell. Both of the 5 star characters are DPS. we still don't have information about the 4 star character sadly. but what we know for sure is that we will be getting 3 new characters in version 5.0. remember, this information is just a leak. So be sure to be skeptical about it.
Natlan is expected to improve upon certain Cryo and Hydro characters, such as Shenhe, Ayato and Emilie in Version 4.8 may synergize with a few teams that don't yet exist.
We also know that in Version 5.0, Mihoyo might increase the level cap from 90 to 100. This information is still not confirmed, but it's something leakers have mentioned. If they are increasing character levels to level 100, that could also mean an increase in enemy levels and world levels. The materials needed to level up all your characters currently at level 90 to level 100 will be substantial. However, if this level cap increase to 100 is true, I hope Mihoyo comes up with a better solution for leveling up characters, or at least gives us a heads up so that we can grind the materials beforehand. honestly, i hope they also increase the adventure rank. It's stuck on 60 since forever.
