[2020] Transnistria Anthem | Victory over Japan Day & Republic Day Parade in Tiraspol 2020

"State Anthem of Transnistria" has been used as the official national anthem of Transnistrian Moldovan Republic. The parade was held at Suvorov Square in Tiraspol on 2nd September, 2020.

Although September 2 is Victory over Japan Day(VJ Day) as well as Transnistrian Republic Day, almost all former Soviet republics including Transnistria celebrate Victory over Germany Day (May 9) as their Victory Day. Transnistria has traditionally celebrated Sept. 2 not as Victory day but as their Republic day.

However, in 2020, owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Transnistria postponed their Victory day parade until September 2, while other countries conducts Victory parade on May 9 or postpone until June 24, when the first Victory Parade was held. Unlike other countries, Transnistria has held parades annually on Sept. 2 since 1993, they decided to postpone until VJ Day!
