"State Anthem of the Republic of South Ossetia - the State of Alania" has been used as the official national anthem of the Republic of South Ossetia - the State of Alania since 1995. The special meeting dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian federation was held in Tshinvali on 26th August, 2022.
