This video is my initial thoughts on the newest member of the Olympus OMD family the brand new Olympus EM5 MKIII. I compare this camera to it's closest cousin the OMD EM1 MKII.

In a nutshell, this is everything we love about the EM1 MKII in a smaller body. They did have to give up a couple of features like dual cards and the larger battery but in all this is the smallest and lightest pro featured camera on the market.

The chief upgrade in my mind is the addition of the 20MP sensor of the EM1 MKII and the EM1X which brings phase detect autofocus to the EM5 MKIII. This means you now have world-class tracking in C-AF and in video. Huge upgrade.
