How to Change from Landscape to Portrait in Keynote
By default Keynote slides are in landscape orientations. If you set-up your Keynote slides in Portrait mode when you try to print, by default it will print horizontally. Before you print or save it as a PDF, go to Page Attributes, check that the paper size is 8.5 x 11 inches and change the Orientation to Portrait.
