This is a quick video shot at one of my recent courses in Dallas, Texas. The facility for the course had a nice clean parkade facility with a typical incline for these types of parking facilities.
I assume that most of these facilities are built to a universal code that takes into account the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for wheelchair access. In this case, the incline for the facility was at 5 degrees (8-9%) and had a relatively grippy surface to prevent slipping.
The incline allows athletes to find a comfortable angled posture for acceleration, even at sub-maximal efforts. We also included some drills on the incline to help with posture and support.
