Washington state ferry workers report increase in verbal abuse from passengers
Washington state ferry workers are reporting an increase in unruly behavior and verbal abuse from passengers at terminals.
This comes as the Washington State Ferries system deals with a lack of boats, delayed or canceled sailings, and worker shortages.
Summer is the busiest time of year for WSF. Officials told KOMO News they see thousands of riders, but with long wait times and cancellations, some ferry workers said passengers are taking it out on them.
