Seattle police investigate deadly shooting at Dr. Jose Rizal Park in North Beacon Hill
Seattle police detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that left one person dead and another injured at Dr. Jose Rizal Park in North Beacon Hill Monday.
Police said around 11:51 p.m. patrol officers responded to a report of a woman who said she was shot inside of a vehicle in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue South.
When police arrived at the scene they found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. There was also a man who was shot multiple times.
Police and Seattle fire provided emergency aid to the woman and she was later transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third woman who was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting was not injured.
