In this tutorial I showcase my current progress. Then I start making the game from the beginning using the 2D sidescroller template and a bunch of free assets found on the public domain. We set up our character BP and collisions for the sprites. Then we add a few mechanics to the game. In the next video I will be making the main menu for our game and later follow along with more functionality.
