What kind of music channel would I be if I didn't improvise a little?
I got sidetracked at the start of this month, and so as to give the lovely artist who agreed to do the artwork for the cover I had 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘥 to release, more time, I decided instead to hold off on that cover until May. And so, to maintain my "one cover a month" streak, I decided to revisit one of my old covers, Wareta Ringo. But this time around, I gave it an Alt-RnB flair and sang it in the original Japanese. As always, I'll sing endless praises about Shinsekai Yori, and I truly think it is one of my favorite anime. If I were you, I'd check out the anime and the original source novel it's based on. However, the manga, on the other hand? Yeah, most people who like the anime and novel just pretend it doesn't exist. It's just another bland, fan-service-y adaptation. The anime and novel are the way to go!

First time singing in Japanese~
I've been studying Japanese for a bit now (about a year and a half), and I figured it's about time I cover an anime song in my own style but with the original Japanese lyrics. I mean, I started this channel with the idea of merging my love for anime, music, and languages into one, so singing in Japanese was long overdue lol. This cover marks the second time I've sung in a language besides English (the other being a Spanish cover of Unlasting), and I'm hoping to do many more. I can probably whip up some future covers in French, German, and Italian, but I'm not sure if I'll ever get to do one in Persian. But hey, you never know. Stick around, and I just might!
