No one ever suspected a metal cover of a romance anime!!~~
I actually stumbled upon this anime completely by accident and was immediately captivated by it's opening. It's rare that I hear an opening and think "Yeah that 100% would work in my style" but this was one of them! Something about the almost RnB like guitar in the 1st half and then the upbeat folk/pop sound in the second half goes so hard for no reason. If it hadn't been for the fact that I've been listening to Euclid by Sleep Token this last month, I probably would've never through to cover this song. But I figured if Sleep Token could make an upbeat metal song with acoustic guitars, I can can too.
My happy marriage is a must watch you guys, you cannot sleep on it. It's soooo good. I know there's a movie and some other adaptations of the story, like a light novel and manga, so if the anime keeps up it's current pace, I'll definitely be checking out it's other adaptations. Also Kiyoka Kudou is probably my favorite lead in the romance anime so far. Badass AND caring? 10/10.
