How to Decrease the Space Between the Items in Windows 11 Explorer

Open File Explorer.
Click on View at the top toolbar. Choose Compact view from the list. You will see the space in the left side list decreased.
Click on View at the top toolbar. Uncheck Compact view from the list. You will see the space increase.
We will show you another way to increase or decrease the space. Click on the three dots at the top toolbar. Choose Options from the list. A new window will open.
Go to View tab. Check Decrease space between items. Click on Apply and Ok.
You can increase the space between items. Click on the three dots at the top toolbar. Choose Options from the list. A new window will open.
Go to View tab. Uncheck Decrease space between items. Click on Apply and Ok.
