Weekly Torah Portion: Matot
Through words G-d created our world and through words we create our own realities and shape our destinies. Words of complaint, like words of discouragement and disillusion can lead to downfall, while words of conviction and determination can lead us to great victories. The history of Israel in the wilderness teaches us the supreme importance of how we choose our words and that only through proper speech, reflecting true and pure intentions can we enter into and inherit the land G-d has promised us.
