A Temple Mount Moment: "The Temple Mount is in Our Hands!"
On June 6th, 1967, in the Six Day War, Israeli paratroopers liberated the Temple Mount and returned it to Jewish sovereignty nearly 1,900 years after the Holy Temple had been destroyed. Dr. Melissa Jane Kronfeld describes the actions and the emotions that gripped the Israeli paratroopers on that day. The Hebrew date of the historic event was the 28th of Iyar, celebrated each year in Israel as Yom Yerushalayim - Jerusalem Day!
