USB Debugging Mode is really put into Android for developers but us enthusiasts can use it for a number of different things. On most devices, this requires us to enable Developer Mode and into flipping a toggle. However, Xiaomi does things differently so let me show you how to enable USB Debugging Mode on MIUI.

I'm not personally sure why Xiaomi has gone through these extra steps to add a secondary USB Debugging Mode toggle to its MIUI ROM, nor do I get why it requires you to have a SIM card installed either. But in any case, I feel it's too much and this with the wait time to unlock the bootloader is really starting to hassle their customers.
