With iOS 14, you can have a featured photo on your iPhone or iPad home screen. This is set through widgets.
You can set widgets on any page of your iPhone by pressing and holding on a blank area and you’ll see the plus sign on top.
To add a featured photo on iOS 14, you need the photo widget app. You can download this on the app store.
Once you do, you can launch the photo widget app and create an album with a featured photo. Select the size in the app.
Now, simply exit the app, press and hold to get the plus sign on the iPhone home page, and find the photo widget. You can add it from here to your iPhone and it will set the featured photo on iOS 14.
