How To Create Avatar On Instagram
In this quick tech how to video, I’m going to show you how to create an avatar for yourself on Instagram. Meta has recently released a new update allowing you to create an avatar inside of the Instagram app. You can use this personalized avatar as a fun way to add yourself to something like stories, with the avatar sticker.
To do this, make sure you’re updated to the latest Instagram release. Do this by heading to the app store, doing a search for Instagram, and making sure there’s no updates you’re missing.
Once you’re done with that, open Instagram.
Next, tap your profile icon on the bottom right to get to your main page.
Once there, tap the three-line menu button on the top right, and then in here choose Settings.
Inside of settings, choose Account, and you’ll now see Avatars. Choose that.
Tap get started and you can then go through the steps of creating your new avatar. Choose things like skin tone, hair style and color, face settings, body types, clothing and accessories.
When you’re finished tap done on the top right and save changes. Your avatar will then be updated. If you ever want to make changes to your avatar you can head back inside of here and do your updates and save them.
Now that you have this finished, you can then use your avatar with things like stickers. Create a new story post, tap the stickers icon, and now search and choose avatar. You’ll have a bunch of avatar choices to choose from.
And that’s how you create and use a custom avatar inside of Instagram.
