In this video, I will be showing you, how to switch off your Ubuntu Linux system using a command executed in the command line terminal. The two commands I recommend you use to turn off your Ubuntu Linux system, are the shut down command and the power off command. Throughout this guide the Ubuntu Linux machine I am using is a server hosted on a server host provider called Linode.

Steps To Turn Off Ubuntu Linux From The Command Line Terminal:
1. Open your Ubuntu Linux command line/terminal
2. Type one of the following commands:
shutdown now
or
poweroff
