Akaza is one of the Upper Moon Demons under Muzan Kibutsuji. Akaza once known in his human form as Hakuji. Hakuji at the time was a prodigious martial artist who fought hard for the ones he cared about. Having two people he cared about most die as he was away. Hakuji sought out and destroyed the neighboring dojo. Muzan hearing of this meets with Hakuji and makes him one of the Upper Moon Demons...Akaza. Akaza possesses incredible strength, speed, explosiveness and reflexes. He enjoys the thrill of fighting strong opponents and dislikes those he deems as weaklings.
