If you are thinking about becoming a SURGEON after you finish medical school, check out this video for ways you can increase your chances of securing one of those competitive jobs!
The main things I suggest medical students do is:
1. Start a logbook
2. Join your school's surgical societies
3. Plan a surgical elective
4. If possible, get involved in some surgical research
👉And a bonus one! 👈
5. Talk to as many surgeons as you can on placement!
